Master Bed / Bath and Downstairs Bedrooms

Here are some more photos from before the demolition.

This is the "master" bedroom. Actually the entire upstairs is the master suite. Not much about it in this picture screams OMG how awesome.! Right where he has those awesome curtains we will put a wall. To the right behind the white rack that is there is a partial wall. We will close that in and that will become the walk-in closet. Just before you get to those fancy curtains if you turn to the right, you'll see the master bathroom.

Not much of a vanity for a bathroom of this size. To the left of the vanity is the toilet and to the right is the shower. Above the shower is a very large window. But the way the house was built, there is a roof in the shower which blocks out most all of the natural light from the window. Yup, you guessed it, that "roof" is going.!! Can't wait for you to see the pictures of the "after".

This is bedroom number one downstairs. All of the wood is coming off the walls. I think it's very pretty, but unfortunately it smells and it's just not my style. There is such thing as too much of a good thing sometimes, ya know.?

This is bedroom number two downstairs. Yup, this is how they left the house. He took what he wanted and walked away from the rest. Including a $500 light bill, a $400 sewer bill, and a $40 garbage bill. Nice huh.? Anyway, this bedroom is going to be my dining room. More pictures to follow.!

  1. It looked pretty scary when I 1st saw it & the smell was even worse. Bridgette could see beyond that mess & see the beauty behind the smell & she has that wonderful ability to see the potential this piece of property has that I thought should have been torched to begin with. They will turn something totally unlivable into a beautiful home they can be very proud of ... I'm proud of them for being able to use their own hands to turn this into their dream home. They've made great progress already.
